Ask yourself what doesn't work in your current kitchen layout and you'll have your new kitchen! Don't rely on the architect to ask all the right questions. No matter how skilled they are they can't get 100% inside your head and visualize exactly what you are seeing.

Make  a rough sketch of your desired room locations, together with a detailed description of your requirements for each individual room.

Any pictures from magazines - it may be a picture of a kitchen layout, a fireplace detail or even an outside deck area.

Your individual requirements, your wants and needs are going to have an influence on the total concept, format and look of your home.

Your formal or casual lifestyle, your preference to outdoor cooking, your hobbies and interests, will dictate your personal requirements and preferences.

Take pen to paper, write a list of requirements. Our Specification Sheet will help you have a reasonably in depth list of items which will also provide a reference as to how much space and possibly the shape, that will need to be allocated for the various areas.

We can advise you that living in Crete offers an unbelievable amount of time that you will spend outside your home! There is no more than 3 months of winter, and at worst, the temperature never drops below 10-15 degree Celsius. The rain is rare and mostly in November and then in February March.
